2) Information We Collect
- Account data: name, email address, password (hashed), and profile fields you provide.
- Course/tutor activity: enrollments, lesson progress, quiz scores, certificates issued, and messages.

Comments
When visitors leave comments, we collect the data shown in the comments form, plus the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent to help with spam detection. An anonymized string (hash) created from your email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. After your comment is approved, your profile picture (if any) is visible to the public alongside your comment. See Gravatar’s privacy policy: https://automattic.com/privacy/.
Media
If you upload images to the Website, please avoid uploading images with embedded EXIF GPS location data. Visitors to the Website can download and extract location data from images posted publicly.
3) How We Use Information
- Provide and improve courses and services
- Process transactions and support requests
- Personalize content and recommendations
- Security, fraud prevention, and compliance
- Communications: send service emails (enrollment, receipts, updates) and—where permitted and with consent where required—newsletters and promotional messages. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time via the link in the email.
- Advertising/remarketing (if enabled): show or measure ads about our services on this site or third‑party platforms. See Cookies & Advertising for controls.
4) Cookies & Similar Technologies
- Essential cookies: required for core site features (security, session, preferences).
- Analytics cookies: help us understand site usage (e.g., page views) to improve services.
- Preference cookies: remember your settings (e.g., language, display options).
WordPress cookie details
- If you leave a comment, you may opt‑in to saving your name, email, and website in cookies for convenience. These cookies last 1 year.
- If you visit the login page, we set a temporary cookie to check whether your browser accepts cookies; it contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
- When you log in, we set cookies to save your login information and screen display choices. Login cookies last 2 days; screen options cookies last 1 year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login persists for 2 weeks. Logging out removes the login cookies.
- If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie is saved in your browser indicating the post ID of the article you edited. It expires after 1 day.
Your controls: You may manage cookies via your browser settings. Declining certain cookies may impact site functionality. Where required, we display a cookie banner for consent.
Advertising & Analytics (Pixels/Tags)
- If enabled, we may use advertising and analytics pixels/tags from Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google Ads & Google Analytics, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube to measure performance and build audiences for our services. These tools may set cookies or use device identifiers. We may also advertise via local news outlets or newspapers; those off‑site placements typically do not involve sharing your personal data with us unless you visit our Website, in which case our analytics may record your visit via standard tracking parameters (e.g., UTM).
- Custom audiences (if used): where permitted and with required consent, we may use hashed contact data to create custom or lookalike audiences on platforms like Meta, Google, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, TikTok, or Pinterest. You can opt out by contacting us or adjusting your ad preferences on those platforms.
- Consent first (EEA/UK): non‑essential cookies/tags only run with your consent. You can change your preferences at any time via the cookie banner (where available).
- Opt‑outs: adjust ad preferences in your social platform or Google account settings and use industry opt‑out tools. Opting out limits personalization but does not stop all ads.
5) Legal Bases (if applicable)
For users in the EEA/UK, we rely on: consent (e.g., non‑essential cookies, newsletters, certain marketing/analytics), contract performance (to deliver courses and account features), legitimate interests (to secure and improve services, prevent fraud, limited direct marketing), and legal obligations (record‑keeping, tax, compliance). You may withdraw consent or object to processing based on legitimate interests at any time.
6) Sharing & Disclosure
- Service providers: hosting, analytics, email delivery, customer support, and payment processing (bound by confidentiality and data‑processing terms). We share only what’s necessary to run the service.
- Legal & security: we may disclose information to comply with law, protect rights, or prevent fraud and abuse.
- No sale: we do not sell personal data.
- Password reset: if you request a password reset, your IP address may be included in the reset email as part of security checks.
- Spam detection: visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Named third‑party processors & integrations (examples)
Depending on the features you use, we may integrate with:
- Hosting & infrastructure (Hostinger): provides web hosting, storage, logging, and CDN/security for our Website. In doing so, Hostinger may process IP addresses, device/browser information, and system logs. Hostinger acts as our data processor under its data‑processing terms.
- Tutor LMS (LMS platform): manage enrollments, lesson progress, quizzes, and certificates. Data may include your account/profile details and course activity.
- Forms (WPForms + anti‑spam): capture form entries you submit (e.g., applications, support). Entries may be emailed to us and stored in WordPress. Google reCAPTCHA may be enabled to prevent abuse and may collect device/usage data for security per Google’s Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and Terms of Service (https://policies.google.com/terms). File uploads you submit are stored to process your request.
- Video conferencing (Google Meet, Zoom): for live classes or meetings. Data may include your name, email, device information, and any audio/video you transmit during a session. We do not record by default; if recording is planned, we notify participants in advance.
- Video hosting & players (YouTube/Vimeo): embedded players may set cookies or collect usage data according to their policies, especially if you’re logged into those services.
- Email & newsletters (e.g., Mailchimp/MailPoet/ConvertKit): to send confirmations, updates, and newsletters. These providers may use open/click tracking to measure delivery and engagement. You can unsubscribe anytime via the link in each email.
- Analytics (e.g., GA4 or similar): understand usage and improve services; see Cookies for controls.
- Advertising & pixels (if enabled): e.g., Meta (Facebook) Pixel, Google Ads, LinkedIn Insight Tag, X/Twitter, TikTok, Pinterest. These tools may set cookies or use similar tech to measure and build audiences for ads. In the EEA/UK, we use such tools only with your consent.
- Payments (e.g., payment processors): securely process purchases; see Payments below.
Where required, we have data‑processing terms in place with these providers. Many providers may transfer data internationally (see International Transfers).
7) Payments
Processed by third‑party providers; we do not store full card details.
8) International Transfers
Your personal information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than the one you live in (for example, to data centers and service providers such as Hostinger and other vendors listed above). Where required by law, we implement appropriate safeguards for cross‑border transfers, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and/or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum (IDTA). You can contact us for more information about these safeguards.
9) Data Retention
- Comments: we retain comments and associated metadata indefinitely to recognize and auto‑approve follow‑up comments.
- Accounts: for registered users, we store the personal information in their user profile. Users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except the username). Site administrators can also see and edit that information.
- Application & support records: retained for as long as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
- Cookies: retained for the durations noted above or until cleared by you.
10) Your Rights
Subject to local law, you may have the right to access, rectify, delete, object, restrict, or port your personal data, and to withdraw consent where we rely on consent. To make a request, contact us at support@edunexushub.com. We will verify your identity and respond within applicable timeframes.
This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
11) Children’s Privacy
Service not directed to children under 16; parental consent where required.
12) Security
Administrative, technical, and organizational measures; no method is 100% secure.
13) Third‑Party Links & Integrations
Articles and pages on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles). Embedded content from other websites behaves the same way as if you visited the other website directly. Those websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third‑party tracking, and monitor your interaction with the embedded content, including tracking your interaction if you have an account and are logged in to that website. We encourage you to review those sites’ privacy policies.
Live classes & recordings (Google Meet, Zoom)
- Live sessions are hosted via third‑party services. You may be asked to provide your name and email to access a session.
- We do not record sessions by default. If a recording is planned, we will notify participants in advance. Recordings may include audio/video, chat messages, names, and screen shares of those who participate.
- Recordings are used for educational purposes (e.g., replay for enrolled students) and are retained only as long as necessary for that purpose. You can opt not to appear on camera or use a pseudonym where allowed. If you do not wish to be recorded, please do not join recorded sessions and contact support for alternatives where available.
Video hosting & embeds (YouTube/Vimeo)
- When you play an embedded video, the provider may set cookies and collect usage data in line with their policies. If you are logged into that provider, your activity may be associated with your account. You can control this via your browser settings and the provider’s privacy settings.
14) Tutors & Instructors
Instructor Application (Required)
- To protect learners and uphold quality, prospective instructors must complete the EduNexusHub Instructor Application and be approved before registering as an instructor or offering courses.
- Attempts to register or publish instructor content without prior approval may result in rejection, limitation, or removal of the account.
Information We Collect During the Application
- Identity & contact: full name, email, phone, country/city, and (where required) government‑issued ID for verification.
- Professional profile: education, certifications, CV/resume, teaching subjects, years of experience, references.
- Samples & portfolio: demo lesson (video/audio), sample materials, links to professional profiles or portfolios.
- Compliance & safety: background/eligibility confirmations, policy acknowledgments, consent to content review prior to publication.
- Payments & tax: payout details (e.g., account holder name and payout processor ID/IBAN) and self‑employment/tax status declarations. EduNexusHub does not withhold, collect, or remit taxes on behalf of instructors. Instructors are solely responsible for determining, reporting, and remitting any taxes or social contributions (e.g., income tax, VAT/GST, sales tax) required by their jurisdiction. (We do not provide tax advice; instructors are independent providers.)
- Any other information you choose to submit as part of your application.
How We Use Application Data
- Evaluate eligibility and verify identity/credentials, prevent fraud and platform abuse, communicate decisions, and (if approved) set up payouts and an instructor profile.
- Legal bases (EEA/UK where applicable): performance of a contract or steps taken at your request; legitimate interests (platform safety and quality); and legal obligations where verification is required.
Visibility & Sharing
- Application data is reviewed by authorized personnel and trusted service providers (e.g., verification, hosting/storage, communications, payment). We do not publicly display verification documents.
Retention
- If approved, core profile data becomes part of your instructor account and is retained while the account is active and as required by law.
- If not approved, we generally retain application records for up to [12 months] (or as required by law) for audit, record‑keeping, and fraud‑prevention, after which they are deleted or anonymized. You may request deletion where legally permissible.
Independence Reminder
- Instructors are independent providers, not employees or agents of EduNexusHub, and are responsible for their own taxes and compliance.
